In this new series, I have moved into a more minimalistic style. Here the use of Black and White is paramount to accentuate the immediacy of the work. My inspiration has been the works of Franz Kline and Pierre Soulages among others in their use of black on white (white on black) to tell a story with conviction in a gestural fashion.
